Welcome to the Akron Systems Development/MediTrac Web site. ASD was founded in 1985 for the development of high performance graphics routines for the CAD/CAM market. In 1989 this expertise brought us to designing EndoFlex™, the first virtual reality endoscopic simulator for Flexible-Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy and ERCP, and EndoEdit™, a user friendly, high performance, GI anatomic modeler for use with EndoFlex™. Simultaneously we began developing the first versions of GI-Trac and GI-Image. All of our engineering support staff holds masters or higher degrees in areas like biomedical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science and they work closely with a medical steering committee comprised of world leading physicians in their field of expertise. We have utilized our engineering expertise, and experience with medical issues to bring you the most well thought out medical software on the market. We understand the rapidly changing world of medicine and the fast paced world of computer technology.
